The NCAA has just released the latest APR scores”¦ and, overall, the picture looks pretty bright for most college wrestling programs.
APR? No, we’re not talking about Annual Percentage Rate that you see on your credit card statement or in ads for new car financing. And, no, APR has nothing to do with “Pinning Ratio” or any other statistic generated from on-the-mat performance.
For college wrestling programs “and all intercollegiate sports, for that matter “APR stands for Academic Progress Rate, a measure of in-the-classroom performance created by the NCAA.
