Real Pro Wrestling Screenings at NCAAs

They said it couldn’t be done. Well, it is being done and done very well!

RealProWrestling’s premier broadcast on PAX-TV next Sunday at 4:00 PM EST (3:00pm CST) is the first-ever national telecast of real professional wrestling.

This past weekend in St. Louis, around 1,800 lucky NCAA Wrestling Division I Championship attendees got the break of a lifetime as they were invited to an exclusive advanced screening of RealProWrestling Episode I.

Located in a massive 100-foot high tent right behind the HardRock Café in St. Louis Union Station, RealProWrestling hosted the premier parties on Friday, March 18, 2005 at 1:15pm, 3:00pm and 9:30pm to standing room-only crowds of wrestling fans and influencers as well as various members of the wrestling media community.

Also on-hand were members of the RealProWrestling marketing team and athletes who competed during the inaugural season’s taping. The wrestlers were there to sign posters and t-shirts for the throngs of fans who showed up and who share their rabid enthusiasm for America’s newest professional sports league.

The day’s highlight occurred during the 9:30pm screening when wrestling icon and RPW supporter Dan Gable addressed the frenzied crowd. When introduced by RPW Marketing VP Chris Chickering he was met with a thundering round of applause. He told the crowd that we must support RPW for wrestling to continue to grow or the sport will be swallowed up by Title IX.

Gable and American wrestling icon Rulon Gardner are set to appear in a bold and dramatic full-page ad in USA Today later this week to both help support the broadcast premier and to inform the world of the RPW brand platform on behavior in sports.
