Mark just updated my “They Were Once Wrestlers “list and installed it in the Files section of this Yahoo group.
In case you’re not familar, this list — in Word format — includes famous people who were once amateur wrestlers. You’ll find presidents (and White House press secretaries) and other politicians, actors, astronauts, authors, business leaders, musicians, and stars in other sports (including the NFL)… and, yes, pro rasslers who were once for real.
In addition, I’ve included the names of former wrestlers I consider to be American heroes because they gave their lives in service to their country…
In all, you’ll find over 200 names.
Feel free to use this list as a recruitment/retention tool… to publicize your program… and to help promote the sport!
