Video of Hall of Fame Honors Banquet to be streamed online on TheMat.com starting Saturday, June 5

The 29th Honors Banquet of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame will be posted online as a video stream on TheMat.com on Saturday, June 5.
The formal ceremony from the Honors Banquet will be taped, then posted as a downloadable video file for fans across the nation and world to enjoy. This is the first time that the Hall of Fame Honors Banquet will be available for viewing on the internet.
The Honors Banquet will be begin at 7:00 p.m. Central Time, and is expected to end at approximately 9:30 p.m. The broadcast video from the banquet will then be converted into a digital format. It is expected to be posted for viewing later that evening, with a target time of 11:30 p.m. Central Time for those interested to see the Banquet that evening.
Once posted, the webcast of the banquet will be available for all viewers from a link on TheMat.com’s homepage for a month, where viewers may download the video at their convenience. After that, the webcast will be placed in the archives of TheMat.com’s Audio/Video page.
Each of the new Distinguished Members will give an acceptance speech, as they are recognized for their great achievements in the sport. The other special award winners will also be featured on the webcast. Those who have attended past Honors Weekends have found the Honors Banquet to be an exciting and memorable occasion.
