It was also the 115th career win for Hawkeye Head Coach Jim Zalesky. Iowa improved to 9-4 overall and 4-2 in the Big Ten with the win, while Minnesota fell to 8-7, 2-3.<\/p>\n<p> Minnesota jumped out to an 8-0 start with wins at the first two weights, but Iowa responded with four straight victories to take a 16-8 lead. Hawkeye freshman Alex Tsirtsis started the Iowa roll at 141, winning an 11-1 major decision over Tommy Owen. Junior Ty Eustice followed up by scoring his 20th win of the season with a 4-2 decision over Quincy Osborn at 149. Junior Joe Johnston fired up the Hawkeye crowd of 5,711 with his 3:36 pin of Danny Williams at 157. After the Iowa Public Television intermission, Iowa redshirt freshman Mark Perry scored a takedown in sudden victory to defeat Matt Nagel, 3-1 at 165. Minnesota scored its third win of the night at 174 when Gabriel Dretsch recorded an 11-7 win over Hawkeye freshman Luke Lofthouse. Hawkeye juniors Paul Bradley and Adam Fellers responded with win to seal the team victory for Iowa. At 184, Bradley scored a takedown with 13 seconds left in the match to win a 12-4 major decision over Jeremy Larson, and Fellers picked up his first dual win of the season with a 3-1 decision in sudden victory over Matt Koz at 197. Second-ranked Cole Konrad put the last Gopher points on the board with a 2-0 decision over Iowa freshman Matt Fields at heavyweight. <\/p>\n<p>Iowa will host Michigan (12-3-1, 4-0-1 in the Big Ten) Sunday at 6 p.m. in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
