Their record of 11 winning seasons, 5 conference titles, 6 national championships, 8 individual NCWA National Champions, and an impressive 45 NCWA All-Americans will certainly boost the MMI program to the next level.<\/p>\n<p>Marion Military Institute will compete in the NJCAA and is the only varsity college wrestling team in the state of Alabama.<\/p>\n<p>Some of James Hazewinkel&#8217;s accomplishments include:<br \/>\nMember of 1968 and 1972 Olympic Teams<br \/>\nFour time NAIA National Champion<br \/>\nSix time National Greco-Roman Champion<br \/>\nNamed &#8220;Outstanding Wrestler&#8221;\u009d of the Nation &#8220;three times<br \/>\nTop 10 in the World (3 times)<br \/>\n2003 National AAU Title (Masters Division)1998<br \/>\nNational AAU Champion (Masters Division &#8220;Folkstyle, Freestyle, Greco-&#8220;Roman and Sombo)<br \/>\nAll Army and Inter-Service Wrestling Champion<br \/>\nInducted into National Wrestling Hall of Fame for &#8220;Lifetime Service to Wrestling&#8221;\u009d &#8220;2005<br \/>\nInducted into St. Cloud State University &#8220;Team&#8221;\u009d Hall of Fame &#8220;2004<br \/>\nInducted into Minnesota State Wrestling Hall of Fame &#8220;1997<br \/>\nInducted into St. Cloud State University Athletic Hall of Fame &#8220;1984<br \/>\nInducted into NAIA Wrestling Hall of Fame &#8220;1975<br \/>\nAsst.
