Oklahoma State assistant wrestling coach Patrick Michael Smith was arrested by Payne County deputies early Friday morning.<\/p>\n
Smith, 35, was charged with one count of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.<\/p>\n
At approximately 1:40 a.m., Smith’s Toyota pickup was seen swerving on Country Club Road, just north of Lakeview Road, according to a report from Payne County district attorney Robert Hudson.<\/p>\n
If found guilty, Smith could face one to five years in prison.<\/p>\n
Smith, brother of Cowboy coach John Smith, wrestled for Oklahoma State and won four individual national championships between 1990 and 1994.<\/p>\n
