The 174-pounder went 6-0 on the weekend with a pair of pins. He recorded a critical fall 39 seconds into his match in CMU&#8217;s one-point victory over No. 16 Arizona State. Then, with the Chippewas down 15-6 to No. 14 Northern Iowa, Hancock pinned No. 3 Eric Hauan in 1:19 to spark CMU&#8217;s comeback to 21-18 team victory.<\/p>\n<p> Hancock also beat No. 7 E.K. Waldhaus of Oklahoma, 8-4, in the final dual of the tournament. He is now 23-3 on the season and ranked seventh in the nation.<\/p>\n<p> The Maroon and Gold travel to No. 23 Northern Illinois this weekend for a battle with the Huskies on Friday, Jan. 28. The dual is set to begin at 7 p.m. CST.
