Hello Everyone! I hope your summers are going well. We just finished two technique camps and our 12 day Training camp here in Iowa City. We leave for San Jose, CA for a 5 day technique camp this Friday then we finish up our camp season in Mason City July 31-Aug 4. Most all of our guys have been around working camp all summer. They have been getting in some great workouts in the heat and humidity. We have been focusing on the bottom position and have been seeing noticeable improvements. We are looking forward to the fall.<\/p>\n

-The Hawkeye Training Club athletes who competed in the 2005 World Team Trials, which were held at Iowa State at Hilton Coliseum last month finished with the following results: <\/p>\n

-Our first annual Iowa Wrestling Golf Classic was a great success. We had 144 golfers (36 foursomes) and 43 hole and green sponsors. The team of Tommy Thompson-Dr. Tom Davis-Terry Anderson-Jim Miller won our Black Division Trophy and the team of Lance Shelton-Chad Wombacher-Brian Smith-Doug Burkhardt won our Gold Division Trophy. We would like to thank all our sponsors once again for their support and making our event such a great success.<\/p>\n
