Summary: Authentic Yogi Gives Instruction
Comment: The instructor is obviously an experienced yogi, i.e. someone who has studied and taught yoga for a long time. I find this generally preferable to an aerobics instructor who has recently jumped onto the yoga bandwagon. This tape is great for the novice, and a wonderful intro to yoga.

Comment: This is a good introductory kit. The video shows proper use of the props. The video is not intended as a workout. You'll need a beginner's tape. I would like the kit better if it had a bag to hold everything.

Comment: This product was not at all what I expected.
-The blocks are fine. No problems there.-The mat is very thin. It's made out of that same non-slip stuff they sell at Wal-mart for putting under rugs. I've been looking at Yoga kits in nearby stores that cost within [the price] of this one and they had higher quality mats at nearly 1.5 inches thick. This mat is about 1/4 inches thick.
-The tape is geared more toward stretching than to Yoga. If you're interested in learning Yoga, this tape is not for you.
It's all about expectations and given that, I'm seriously considering sending this product back...

Comment: This Living Arts Yoga Kit is great! You get everything you need to get started at a great price! If you bought all of the pieces seperately it would cost much more. The mat is very high quality, as are the yoga strap and blocks. You will get years of use from this set. The video will go through the use of props with you and help you understand their uses better. We reccomend this to everyone!
